Confirmation on December 16th

8-10th grade confirmation students should join us for a special class on Wednesday, December 16, 7-8:30 pm at Mario's Pizzeria.  Parents are also welcome to attend this class.  We will hear from two speakers from the Interfaith Assembly on Homelessness and Housing.  These guests were formerly homeless and will share with us their stories and experiences.  This is an opportunity to learn first hand about the problems of homelessness and hunger.  Solving these issues in one evening is of course not a possibility, but ignoring these problems is also not a Jewish option.  On Thursday, December 17, 6:30-7 pm we will pack lunches for the homeless and hungry in our area.  Join the seventh graders at the Hebrew School for this important project.
