Torah Study

There are three ongoing efforts to bring the beauty and depth of Torah study to the JCB community.

Weekly podcasts on the Torah portion of the week, called "3 Minutes of Torah," found here.  In addition Rabbi Moskowitz emails the congregation weekly Torah Thoughts that can also be found on the JCB Blog.  His Friday evening sermons in which he responds to the questions raised in his email message can also be found at this link.

A monthly discussion group on the Torah, and the questions and issues that arise from its chapters. Questions about anything Jewish are also most welcome.

An adult bat mitzvah class now in formation.  Please contact the rabbi if you are interested in participating in this class that will conclude with a bat mitzvah ceremony.  For those who were not fortunate enough to learn about their Judaism when they were 13, this year long, biweekly class will serve as both an introduction to Jewish life and the reading of Hebrew.
